#nikitafeelings: why doesn’t anybody watch this?
I would normally just stick to the tags with my thoughts, but I’ve been discussing this with my co-producer and I JUST HAVE TOO MANY FEELINGS that I can’t keep for myself. I plan to eventually do a mini-spam of reasons why this show needs to get more attention than it does. But for now, I’m going to sum it up to: THESE. TWO. LADIES.
Nikita (Maggie Q) and Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) are two of the most stronger female characters I have seen around, and not because they can kick asses like the bosses they are, but because they are complete, complex and act fully on their own voice. They are the core and heart of the show, not only on their relationship with each other but with every single character that crosses their path.
They are not of course, the only good thing of the show, I consider Nikita to be a series that, not without flaws, is complete and really underappreciated.
But when everybody and their mother’s are crying their souls over characters that keep getting screwed over and over, I only wonder why isn’t everybody watching this.
This. WATCH IT PEOPLE. WATCH IT DAMMIT
